Here is his HostGator Virtual Private Servers review:
I've been using HostGator's new virtual private server offer since they launched it in November, 2009. Having been a beta tester for this period of time, HostGator and I have sure experienced some hiccups! It's to be expected when you jump onboard the first month of a new product release. Guess I'm just a glutton for punishment!
Anyway, I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and it paid off! By December, my VPS was running with zero issues at all. And now, to this day I submitted this review on Sunday January 22, 2012, I've still had zero problems!
I signed up with their Level 5 service which gave me 1,824MB RAM, 80GB disk space, and 1,425GB bandwidth. This fit the bill nicely for what my sites needed. I've never seen a VPS company offer with so many options. They have 9 levels you can switch between! Amazing.
Anyway, overall I give HostGator a 4 out of 5. They were nice enough to give me a partial credit on my first month for my troubles (I call it beta testing!). I appreciate that!
Their service is solid, the server appears stable, and I truly feel like I am on my own dedicated server. Thanks HostGator.
