Welcome to our first month of HostGator server testing. During this period we tested HostGator servers for reliability, uptime, and server response times.

In this post, we will focus on Non-US traffic coming to this website. That is, traffic from our testing servers placed all over the world including Singapore, Australia, Sweden, United Kingdom, and more!

Here is the graph report of HostGator speed tests for October, 2007:

As you can see, we didn’t start our testing on HostGator from October 1st through the 6th.  The reason being we just started testing on October 7th. From now on, our tests will show a full month. Enjoy.

Here is the daily statistics for server response times and downtimes.

As you can see, HostGator did fairly well for our first month of server testing. For Non-US traffic, HostGator had an average response time of 1,184ms. Keep in mind this is full page load and during this time, we only had one temporary post on this blog. As we post more, this time will increase as the page size increases.

These are pings based on full page loads.
