The average page load time for the month of November throughout all testing servers was 670 ms. Overall, these results are above satisfactory!

This looks pretty good for the month of November. The averages are pretty stable throughout the month.

The average page load times from our US based testing servers was 389 ms. This is very good considering it includes loading the main page of this blog for 24 of those days. HostGator’s network is pretty solid!

November test results for HostGator are in! Be sure to take a look at our testing procedures post we made earlier that points out some changes we made to our testing procedures.

As you can see the changes made on the 24th caused a drop in the graphs. Sorry about that. This will all be balanced out in next months statistics.

Even though the results are a mixed blend of main page loading and out newer test 10K page, we thought it would still be good to post the stats for everyone to review.

HostGator’s average full page load times was 1,045 ms from servers located outside of the United States.

Ginally, lets combine our results into one complete average.

Lets take a look at the daily statistics for HostGator.

In total, the average response time from all global servers we have all over the world, we saw an average page load time of 741 ms.  We are used to receiving 1,000+ ms for this report, so obviously this has a lot to do with our website being new and the main page having very few text.

But overall, 741 ms is excellent. We rate HostGator an A+.

We’re hoping the downtime experienced on the 30th was a fluke. We’ll see next month!

In our second post, we will discuss traffic coming from US servers to our HostGator Hosting Reviews page. Here is the graph for US only speed tests:

The traffic appears to be great except for one time on the 12th. Lets take a closer look:

As you can see from this chart, the spike we saw in the graph was not the average time we saw for that day. In fact, it was probably from one of our servers having a mechanical problem or something else.

Either way, HostGator reports an excellent ping page load time of 512 ms!

For this excellent average page load time, we rate HostGator an A+. If you were worried about HostGator performance, our tests prove HostGator is an excellent choice for your hosting needs.

Welcome to our first month of HostGator server testing. During this period we tested HostGator servers for reliability, uptime, and server response times.

In this post, we will focus on Non-US traffic coming to this website. That is, traffic from our testing servers placed all over the world including Singapore, Australia, Sweden, United Kingdom, and more!

Here is the graph report of HostGator speed tests for October, 2007:

As you can see, we didn’t start our testing on HostGator from October 1st through the 6th.  The reason being we just started testing on October 7th. From now on, our tests will show a full month. Enjoy.

Here is the daily statistics for server response times and downtimes.

As you can see, HostGator did fairly well for our first month of server testing. For Non-US traffic, HostGator had an average response time of 1,184ms. Keep in mind this is full page load and during this time, we only had one temporary post on this blog. As we post more, this time will increase as the page size increases.

These are pings based on full page loads.
